Leader: We believe in one God
ALL: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Leader: He is the true and living God, and the everlasting King.
ALL: Worthy to receive glory and honor and power.
Leader: He created all things,
ALL: And by his will they existed and were created.
Leader: We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ;
ALL: He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
Leader: By him all things in heaven and earth were created.
ALL: All things were created through him and for him.
Leader: He himself is before all things,
ALL: And in him all things hold together.
Leader: Who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
ALL: And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Leader: Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
ALL: and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Leader: And he who is seated on the throne is making all things new.
ALL: He will wipe away every tear from our eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore.
Leader: To him be glory forever.
