Leader:
I waited patiently for the LORD;
he inclined to me and heard my cry.
He drew me up from the pit of destruction,
out of the miry bog,
ALL:
He has delivered us from the domain of
darkness and transferred us
to the kingdom of his beloved Son,
in whom we have redemption,
the forgiveness of sins.
Leader:
and set my feet upon a rock,
making my steps secure.
ALL:
And we have peace with God through
our Lord Jesus Christ.
Through him we have also obtained access
by faith into this grace in which we stand.
Leader:
He put a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God.
ALL:
And we rejoice in hope of the glory of
God.
Leader:
Come, let all the redeemed worship the LORD;
ALL:
Let us glory in the God of our salvation!
