Leader: We believe in one God
ALL: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Leader: He is the true and living God,
ALL: Worthy to receive glory and honor and power.
Leader: He created all things,
ALL: And by his will they existed and were created.
Leader: We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ;
ALL: He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
Leader: By him all things in heaven and earth were created.
ALL: All things were created through him and for him.
Leader: He himself is before all things,
ALL: And in him all things hold together.
Leader: Who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
ALL: And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Leader: Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name.
ALL: God put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church.
Leader: We believe that Jesus died and rose again,
ALL: Through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died, and so we will always be with the Lord.
