delivered from the domain of darkness
rescued from eternal death,
transferred into the kingdom of your beloved Son
adopted into your family,
brought into your fellowship,
made into a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for Your own possession, that we may proclaim the excellencies of him who called us out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Like our brothers and sisters in the faith who stretch across the face of the earth from various nations, tribes, and tongues, we gather on this Lord’s day to declare your praises and to feast on your Word.
O Lord, “Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.”
Lead us now, Holy Spirit, as we pour out our hearts, center our minds and lift up our voices in praise of our Triune God. Amen.
