Call to Worship from Colossians 3

Exhortation:
Perhaps there is no sweeter word than God’s promise to dwell with his people – that we will be with the Lord. This promise stands as the apex of all other promises. All the promises of God culminate in his promise to be with us. For God Himself is the gospel. He is the treasure. He is the good, the true, and the beautiful that our hearts long for.

This promise is expressed many times and in many ways throughout the scriptures but we’ll read one today as our call to worship. May the Lord use this to whet your appetite for worship.
